This piece is a reflection of the delicate balance between nature, technology, and the human spirit. I wanted to create a sense of isolation but also rebirth—like the figure in the pod is suspended in a moment of transformation. The glowing cylinder represents both a sanctuary and a containment, exploring how we sometimes need to retreat from the chaos around us to rediscover our true selves.

The hibiscus flowers symbolize life, growth, and fragility. Their organic, natural beauty contrasts with the neon green cubes, which represent the artificial and digital elements of the modern world. Together, they orbit around the figure, showing how we are constantly influenced by both nature and technology.

The lush green background and shadowy plants create a tension between wilderness and enclosure, suggesting that while we exist in a natural world, we are often disconnected from it. The warm tones inside the pod—orange, red, and pink—reflect introspection, warmth, and the spark of inner energy, while the green glow at the base ties it all back to vitality and grounding.

Through this piece, I wanted to explore the theme of transformation in a world where the organic and the artificial are deeply intertwined. It’s about finding harmony and rediscovering your inner essence while navigating the pressures and distractions of the external world.
